Shirley Herbert Obituary

Shirley Stone Herbert passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

Shirley was predeceased by her husband of 57 years Donald J. Herbert; brothers, Raymond L., Lyle, and Charles Stone; and her parents Jesse Wilson Stone and Emma Woolridge Stone.

She is survived by her children, Douglas (Doreen) Herbert, Denise (Tom) George, Darlene (Doug) Guthrie, and Donald L. (Mellissa) Herbert. She had 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Shirley retired from the Central Square Transportation department as a bus driver for 21.5 years.

She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, along with trips with her husband and family gatherings. She will be missed by many from her Central Square community.

Services will be private to the family.
