Phyllis A. “Bunny” Henry, 78 of Brewerton New York, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April, 25, 2023 surrounded by family.
Phyllis is a friend, a mom to many, and a caregiver to all. Phyllis is predeceased by Philip Rossomando (father), Genevieve Rossomando (mother), and Charles Levy (brother).
She is survived by her longtime companion of almost 20 years Charles Kucharski , Matt (Tara) Kucharski, daughters, Kristen (Brian) Falise, and Kerri (Barry) Green, 5 grandchildren Phillip Falise, Thomas Falise, Katie (Zach) Gewelb, Ashley Green, Christina Green and 2 great grandchildren, Hunter Falise, and Ellie Gewelb.
Phyllis loved her family, friends, her beautiful home, but most of all her dog Juno. Phyllis worked at J.W. Stevens in Syracuse, New York for almost 30 years, and Kinney Drugs in Brewerton for 20 years. She ran the Woman’s World Building at the Syracuse Nationals for 20 years, volunteered for 10 years at Assumption Church’s Soup Kitchen, and also regularly attended Zumba at the North Syracuse Community Center where she and her Zumba girls would cut up and laugh several times a week. Phyllis enjoyed taking long rides and spending time with Chuck, family get togethers, spending time with her grandchildren, working in her yard, and painting beautiful pieces of art.
Chuck, and her family would like to give many thanks to Dr. Sousou, Emily Malone and staff with Hematology-Oncology Associates in East Syracuse, New York and the nurses, social workers, and staff from Hospice of CNY for all of the kindness, care and support that you gave.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7:00pm on Monday, May 1, 2023, at Watson Funeral Home, 631 S. Main Street, Central Square. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, in Divine Mercy Parish, 592 S. Main Street, Central Square. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse, New York. Contributions may be made to the Soup Kitchen c/o Assumption Church, 812 North Salina Street, Syracuse New York 13208
