Henry S. "Hank" Putz, Sr., 88, of Wedgeworth Point, West Monroe, New York died Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the Francis House in Syracuse, New York.
Mr. Putz was born in Lowville, New York on July 21, 1934 to the late Bazil and Lottie Matuszczak Putz. Hank resided many years in Westvale, New York before retiring to West Monroe in 1988.
Hank was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He worked for General Electric, The Wiremold Company as District Sales Manager, ultimately retiring as a manufactures Rep., associated with many electrical manufacturers. He was a Life Member of the Lowville BPOE, Elks Lodge 1605.
Henry was a communicant of St. Bernadette Church, Constantia , New York and St. Michaels Church in Central Square, New York. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Helen Mihayli and Regina Gray.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, the former Dorene Dobrowski;,daughters; Cynthia (Jim) Tornabene, Caroline Albrigo and Christine (Jim) Bona, sons; Henry Putz, Jr. and Michael (Heather) Putz, nine grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Bernadette Church, Constantia, New York with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM..
Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt, New York.
