Douglas E. McCloat, 58, of Constantia passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 23, 1963 in Saratoga Springs, NY to the late Thomas and the late Judith (Waterman) McCloat. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas “Mike” McCloat and his step mother, Deborah M. McCloat.
Doug recently retired from the Painter’s Local Union No 150 after 33 years. He was a member of the Mad River Club #188. Doug was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a very loving and devoted family man.
Doug is survived by his Fiancé of 20 years, Robin Nelson; 2 daughters, Angelic Gallegos of Utah, Crystal (Brandon) McKittrick, and one son, Matthew (Kianni) McCloat of West Monroe; 3 sisters, Kimberly Labozzetta, Teresa (Roger) Tibbetts, Hope McCloat, and 1 brother, Robert (Kara) McCloat; 6 grandchildren, Laryssa, Neveah, Keith, Carley, Collin, and Mason; many nieces, nephews, cousins friends, and his loving canine companion, Cocoa Lily.
A Visitation will be held on Friday from 1- 4 pm at the Watson Funeral Home, Central Square. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 4 pm at the Funeral Home.
