Darlean A. Russell, 59, of Central Square, passed away from a long battle with Cancer surrounded by her family. Darlean was Born St. Mary's Hospital in Syracuse. Raised in Caughdenoy, NY. She graduated from Paul V. Moore High school of Central Square. Darlean was an avid Crafter, loved to ride motorcycles and was a member of Abate of Onondaga County until she got sick. Darlean also loved to read and spend time with her family.
Darlean is survived by her children, April (Toby Cullen) Cary of Central Square, Melissa (Steven) Wilcox of Rome, Charles J. Clew of Fulton, Duane A. (Kayla) Loomis II, Zackary (Sam Kirts) Chartier of Syracuse; her mother, Beverly (Richard Draper) Kelly; two sisters, Ronniece Knarr of Syracuse and Melissa Monica; her brother, Jonathan Sanford of Syracuse; A lifelong Best friend, William Babcock of Hannibal; her 20 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several rent-a-kids, aunts and uncles, cousins, several nieces and nephews, and friends. She is predeceased by her grandparents, John Russel, Arretta Russell; her two uncles, Max E. Russell and Sonny Russell, her daughter, Maria Loomis, her life long companion Duane A. Loomis, and her grandson, Duane A Loomis III.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 2- 3 PM at Watson Funeral Home, Central Square. A Graveside Service will take place on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 10 AM at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
