Ruth A. (Hudson) Taffe

Ruth A. Taffe, 88, of Central Square passed away peacefully on Saturday in the home that she loved.
The youngest and last of seven siblings, Ruth was known as the "Cookie Lady" for the Central Square School District until retirement.  An accomplished seamstress, she loved her flower gardens, birds, and reading.  Most of all, she loved her late husband George and her daughters. The family wishes to thank all those who helped with Ruth's care.
Surviving are her daughters, Donna Kula (Jim VanWyk), Kathy Neumann (John) and Theresa Fedele; 8 beloved grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 4-6pm Wednesday, January 15 at Watson Funeral Home, Central Square, NY with services immediately following.  
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
