Marjory (Fex) Smith

Marjory Smith, 83, of Central Square, formerly of Brooklyn/Queens, passed away on Wednesday. She was an active member of the community for the past 15 years, volunteering at Downstairs Scotty’s, and participating in various other activities. As an avid reader Marjory was a frequent visitor to the library. Before moving to Central Square, she worked as an Accountant for Arlington Hat Co., in Long Island City. She was a loving person who treated everyone as family.

She is survived by her children, Eric Smith and Anita O’Malley; son-in-law, John O’Keefe; sister-in-law, Helen Fex; nieces and nephews, Karen Jacoby, Janice Foley, Tom Zordan and John Zordan; and many grand-nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be Sunday, 12-2 PM, at Watson Funeral Home, 631 S. Main St., Central Square, NY, 13036 with a Service to follow.
