Jennifer Button lost her courageous battle with cancer, Saturday, July 27, 2019, with her family by her side.
Jennifer was an amazing Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Daughter, and friend; who’s family extended far beyond blood relation. Jennifer loved spending her time seeing new beautiful places, watching sunsets, and spending good time with her family and friends. Jennifer especially enjoyed making new memories with her grandson Cole and was looking forward to meeting her new Grandson in August. Her wild and “ready for a good time” attitude, along with her off the wall sense of humor never wavered.
Jennifer made sure everyone close to her knew she wanted us to celebrate her life in the most non-traditional way possible. We will be holding calling hours on Friday, 2 pm to 4 pm, at Watson Funeral Home, 631 S. Main St., Central Square; however, we ask that only family and friends who will not be able to attend her celebration, attend the calling hours. Jennifer will be cremated prior to calling hours. We will be holding the Celebration of Life at Dominick’s Pub n Grub, in Brewerton, on August 17th. Time is TBA.
Jennifer is survived by her soul mate of 20 years Thomas Jones (Central Square); 3 daughters, Madison, Britney and Courtney (Central Square); grandson Cole; her mother Sharon Roder; her 2 sisters Kelly Button-Wallace (Michael), and Tracy Windhausen (Steven); a niece and two nephews; as well as many lifelong friends who walked by her side through her entire journey. Jennifer is predeceased by her father Richard W. Button (2001) and younger brother Scott “Buttons” Button (2006).
