We will miss Aunt Ida greatly. My fondest memories are our unannounced family visits to Aunt Ida and Uncle Fred. There is no doubt she is looking down from heaven now. My greatest sympathy to all the children and family of Aunt Ida.

To Mary and your entire family,
My sincere sympathy on the death of your Mom. I will always remember her gentle voice and her great laugh. It's sad that we are of the age where our parent's generation from Upsons Corners are all gone now. Wonderful memories of birthday parties and church school. Hope you take comfort from having her in your lives for this long! Pam

Ida was a beautiful, amazing woman of God. I feel blessed to have known her, and know she is rejoicing in heaven with my parents, and I take great comfort in knowing I will see her again someday! Thoughts and prayers to her wonderful, very much loved family.

Ida was our Mom's first cousin. (One of the Stewart cousins). Memories of she, Fred and the children coming often to the parsonage in Pennellville to visit with us when we were little. Even after Fred passed away and the children moved on she continued to visit Mom and I up until our Mom passed away in 2009. She was a joy to be around and always had a droll sense of humor. She never forgot to send me (Bonnie) a Christmas card every year with updates on the family. I will miss those. Out hearts and prayers go out to all the family.

I DID NOT KNOW IDA LONG , BUT FOR AS SHORT AS I DID SHE WAS A GODLY LADY THAT TOUCHED SOOO MANY LIFE .. SHE WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN FOR SHE LEFT A PIECE OF HERSELF WITH IN US ALL ... Dear Marty, Mike, Mary, Milly, Mark, Marcia and Melodie and families,
We were saddened to hear of your Mother's death and to know of your loss. I think that I (Marty) knew your Mom around 55 of her 91 years---really since the Methodist Churches of Upson Corners( and eventually Palermo), Pennellville and Caughdenoy became one charge under the lead of Rev James Spear. She always seemed the ultimate mother and friend. I knew her to be a strong woman of prayer---and I can say, without reservation, she was incredibly proud of all of you!
