Gary M Holst

Gary M. Holst, 72, of Bernhards Bay, died on Sunday, following an accident while doing "his job" to clear the trees that Mother Nature brought down.

Born in Bernhards Bay to Alfred and Ellen Holst, Gary retired from Crouse Hinds after 43 years. He  loved boating and working outdoors.

Gary is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Ellen Fay Holst; children Michael (Judi) Holst, Kim (Joe) Pettinelli, and Brian Holst; brother John (Carol) Holst; grandchildren Taylor, Joey, Dominick, and Jacob; beloved cat Annie; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling Hours will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018, 4:30 to 7:30, at Watson Funeral Home, 631 S. Main St., Central Square with Memorial Service to follow at 7:30 pm. Contributions may be made to Oswego County Opportunities, Inc., 239 Oneida St., Fulton, NY  13069.
