Mable E. Phillips

Mable E. Phillips, 95, of Hastings, passed away peacefully Thursday November 23, 2017. She was born in Canastota, NY. December 24, 1921. She lived in the Syracuse area for many years, before moving to Oswego County in 1963. Mable graduated from Syracuse Central High School in 1941 and went on to work for B.G. Sulzle Surgical Needles from 1945 to her retirement in 1984. In March of 1961 Mable married Frederick Phillips. Fred and Mable enjoyed a 32 year marriage.

 After Fred’s death in 1993, Mable continued to live in Hastings until November of this year. Mable is Predeceased by her husband Fred, her parents, and her cousin.

She is survived by; her nephews Leonard (Jane), Neil (Sharry), Scott Warren, and Robert Phillips; 2 great nieces and  1 great nephew.

Calling Hours will be held  on Wednesday November 29,  from 6pm to 8pm at Watson Funeral Home, 631 S. Main St. Central Square.

A Funeral Service will be held November 30, at 10am at the funeral home with burial to follow in Bridgeport Cemetery.
