The Traditional Service

The traditional service with which people are most familiar includes embalming, services of a Funeral Director and staff, one day of viewing, the funeral ceremony at the Watson Funeral Home or church of your choice, a register book, memorial folders, acknowledgement cards, and services of the hearse and other necessary automotive equipment. The Watson staff is there to help you in any way possible, including arranging your floral tributes and helping you to display photographs and other memorials that make each service special.

Committal (Interment) Service

The committal service is held at the burial site. This can be done in conjunction with the Traditional Service. The committal service or graveside service as it is commonly known, is usually a shorter, sometimes simpler service that either completes the preceding funeral or memorial service or can be a service of 'closure' in and by itself. Graveside services are often opportunities for such tributes such as dove or balloon releases, military honors or other individual and personalized tributes.

Memorial Service

This service (or tribute) is a funeral service that occurs without the body of the deceased present. This service may or may not include certain aspects of the traditional service. Watson  Funeral Home can provide a reverent atmosphere for your individually planned memorial service. Our profession and easy to work with staff are also available to help you plan a personal memorial at the location of your choice.

Cremation Services

The Watson Funeral Home offers a variety of cremation services to meet individual needs. Many families choose to have a traditional service such as a visitation and a funeral service with the body present. Other services might include cremation preceding a visitation, with an urn present. Each service is independently planned to provide the personalized touch that makes every ceremony meaningful.
